Rich grew up in Salt Lake as a bit of a quirky computer nerd. He went to BYU and studied Computer Science. Since then, he has worked professionally as an entrepreneur in software engineering. He has also become obsessed with spending time outside - a few years ago, he accomplished a huge goal of running a hundred-mile ultramarathon. He also purchased a high-roof Sprinter van and converted it into an RV in his parents’ garage. Although fitness and health have become priorities in his life, he’s still an absolute nerd, obsessed with learning, growing, and challenging himself. Brittani (“B”) grew up just outside of Los Angeles in Lancaster, California. After high school, she left for higher education and met her best friend - no, not Rich, but a sweet, devoted Bulldog named Molly. The two have a very special connection that demonstrates B’s loyalty and goodness. B studied Behavioral Science at UVU and since graduating has worked for PhoneSoap, a technology company that makes devices for cleaning personal effects with UV light! B is soft-spoken yet clever and funny. She prefers to sit quietly in the corner and often tries to be overlooked, but her beauty, goodness, and fun personality make that impossible. Together, Rich and B have shared many special experiences. The two have known each other for over four years! They initially met at a birthday party- Rich tried to impress B and her friends with his wit, but to not overdo it too much or risk seeming overzealous. He later asked her out on Instagram, but she gently turned him down. Over the next several years, B and Rich became friends, sharing many wonderful experiences together, growing together, and suffering life’s challenges together. In a way, they accidentally fell in love as they realized that no one else could fill the same role in each other’s lives. Rich and B find joy together in many ways- they love to travel, spend time outside in the sunshine, laugh, and make everyday life an adventure!
