We first met when Daniel shuffled to 'Big' McKeel from South McKeel in the seventh grade. As many of our friends and family know, Daniel tried to ask me out in the ninth grade...I politely declined. During our junior and senior years of high school, Daniel and I dated on and off because Daniel did not quite know what he wanted. Though I like to judge him for his inability to commit, we were only in high school and it probably worked out best for us that way. On the night of our Baccalaureate, June 3rd, 2016, he asked me for the last time, thank goodness, to be his girlfriend and the rest is history!

During my family Key Largo trip Daniel mentioned that his photographer friend Chris was looking to shoot a couple to boost his wedding portfolio and wanted to know if we would be interested, obviously we agreed. Fast forward to November 6th, 2020, we get all dressed up and head to Clearwater Beach for the photo shoot. Towards the end of the session we take several photos with our backs towards each other, when I turned around Daniel was on one knee with the most special engagement ring. My ring has three stones, the middle stone comes from Daniel's Nana who I was unfortunately never blessed to meet, and the two side stones come from my mom's original engagement ring. After the proposal Daniel proceeds to take me to the Wyndham Grand where he tells me we will be staying for two nights. Once checked in we head across the street to Jimmy Crows Nest rooftop bar where our closest friends and family were waiting to celebrate with us all night long!
