FAQs

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Day guests should be seated for 12.15 for ceremony starting at 12.30pm. Evening guests should arrive by 7pm

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope to get married in the woods, there is a clear path through to seating but if all goes well the ceremony will be outside so dress accordingly as it is still Scotland! Dress in something that makes you feel great, there are no colour restrictions

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are having an intimate wedding ceremony with only the people closest to us so no plus ones during the day. Check your invite for the name or names on the front.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, our wedding will be an adults only celebration. We hope this gives you an excuse for a well deserved night out!

Question

Will there be any transport provided on the day?

Answer

Good news, our full day celebration will be at Eden Leisure Village so no need to worry about travel from one to other so we are not providing transport on the day. There is onsite parking too if you are driving in to celebrate with us, we recommend driving via the A73 to avoid the back roads if you can

Question

Are there hotels nearby?

Answer

Yes, the Westerwood by Hilton is only a 10 min drive away or there is a premier inn which is only a 5 min drive away.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have a stunning Photographer and Videographer who we have paid to capture all the special moments of the day so we ask you to keep your phones and cameras away and let them do their job, just remember to smile for the camera!

Question

What time will the celebration end at?

Answer

The last song will be on at midnight to conclude our celebration

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is the only present we need! We are so grateful to celebrate with you. There will be a wedding post box for cards and if you must get us something we have a very good boy at home who loves duck sticks and chew toys who would be very appreciative of some attention on him!
