Nick moved in downstairs and they ended up being neighbors! Tori thought he was very handsome and kept finding excuses to go down to see him. Thank you Nick for being very handy with hanging pictures, TVs and whatever other excuses Tori could come up with. Finally, Nick got the hint and asked Tori on a date!

After Nick and Toris' first date, Tori realized she wasn't quite ready for a relationship yet. They remained friends and Nick waited for Tori to be ready. After about 6 months Tori was ready! Nick took Tori up to Tahoe with a bottle of wine (from his trip to Europe) and we had a sunset picnic. Nick asked Tori to be his girlfriend and she said no... Just kidding! Of course she said yes.

Nick and Tori had been talking about marriage for a bit before their trip to Portugal. While grabbing their passports Tori accidentally found the engagement ring in Nicks bag... oops! Tori had a feeling Nick was going to ask the question but didn't exactly know when. They went on a day trip to a cute little beach town outside of Lisbon. While walking on the pier Tori noticed a photographer following along taking "pictures of the scenery". Nick asked to take Toris picture and when she turned around Nick was on one knee! We were able to take our engagement pictures right afterwards!
