Transportation will be provided on Saturday to transport guests to and from town to the wedding, stopping at each block hotel and the DDX Ranch. If you would prefer to drive, you are more than welcome to do so. Please be responsible and do not drink and drive. There are no street lights and it is a long winding road. Be aware of wildlife on the road.
Western flare is anything that can add a western touch to your formal attire, such as cowboy boots, a belt buckle, cowboy hat, a pair of shoes or purse with fringe details, ruffles, silver and turquoise jewelry etc.
Higher altitudes have lower levels of oxygen and decreased air pressure. Altitude sickness can occur when traveling to an altitude above 6,000 feet and traveling faster than the body can adapt. The ranch is ~6,000 ft above sea level. The best way to prevent altitude sickness is to hydrate before you arrive at a high altitude and to stay hydrated the entire time you are there. Please make sure to drink plenty of water! There will be several hydration stations set up at the wedding.
Time to unplug and celebrate! There is no cell service at the ranch.
Both the ceremony and the reception will be outside (please plan footwear accordingly). Wyoming wind is a real thing. Strong wind is expected. The temperature will be in the low 80s, with very low, to no humidity. As the sun goes down, the temperature will drop.
