Question

Where should I go once I get to Grange Valley?

Answer

For your connivence, at the top of this page is a map of the layout of this property. For those who have a room booked on the property, please proceed to the "Reservation Office" located immediately off of Grange Road. There you will be checked in, receive your welcome bag, and directions to where your room is. For those who are not staying on the property, the best area to park is in the parking lot next to the Heritage Barn off of Tavern Lane.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The church ceremony will take place inside a church, cocktail hour will be an indoor/outdoor event, and the reception will be indoors. The after party, if you choose to attend, will be outdoors.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for Saturday's festivities is garden formal. For women this means a long floor or mid-length gowns in soft pastels, floral prints, or solid elegant hues, such as blush, sage, lavender, etc. There is no limit to color or pattern, and the more color the better! Men are welcome to wear any color suit and style of their choosing. Although we do not have a traditional bridal party, the Best Men will both be wearing tuxedos and the Maid's of Honor will be wearing dark brown. This may be helpful to keep in mind when choosing your own attire.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Immediately following the ceremony, family will be taking pictures at the church for about an hour. In between the end of the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour feel free to return to Grange Valley and grab a drink at the winery, eat a late lunch in the surrounding Mount Pocono area, or enjoy some free time on your own! There will be updated food options for on and off the property as we get closer to the special day.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited space and guest count restrictions at our venue, we are unable to extend plus ones beyond those listed on the invitation. This was a difficult decision but we are so thankful for your understanding.

What should I do if there is downtime?

Answer

If you find yourself with free time over the course of the weekend, there are a few things that can occupy your time at and near Grange Valley. There are pickle ball courts if you are up for a game, a walking trail for a relaxing stroll, as well as ATV rides. Bring your fishing poles if you want to fish in the lake on the property! Mount Airy casino has a golf course nearby if you are up for an early morning golf round. The Estate Winery will be open in the afternoon and evenings, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes just a short drive away.
