Cisco is our favorite local brewery! We love the beer garden which is set up as though you're at the beach! This Cisco brewery is the sister to Nantucket's original Cisco brewery. Lauren's favorite drink of choice is the blueberry lemonade. It's actually a favorite amongst her best friends (and Bridesmaids). Nate's favorite drink of choice at Cisco is the grey lady. Lauren, Nate and Ralphie took a trip to Cisco right before Nate proposed later in the evening in Cape Cod in June.
A fantastic little coffee shop across from the hotel and next to our venue! It's easy to walk to. This a sweet spot to sip a fresh cup of coffee or try a sweet treat.
The Whaling Museum offers a historical view of New Bedford and it's whaling history. The museum is located in New Bedford along the cobblestone streets.
The Black Whale is owned by the same folks that own Cisco Brewery. We love this spot! It's located close to the Fairfield Inn in New Bedford. This restaurant overlooks the fishing boats in New Bedford Harbor. It's close to where the ferry launches to both Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The scallops are always a favorite!
Bocca, formerly known as "The Pasta House" has been one of our favorite dinner spots for a long time. They serve fresh brick oven pizzas and their menu includes a variety of Italian and Seafood dishes.
This little spot is located closest to Lauren's family cottage in Fairhaven. It's on West Island which overlooks the tip of Fairhaven. Off the Hook has a little waterfront where locals dock their boats. They offer live music on the weekends and the most delicious frozen drinks. The mudslides and frozen cocktails are some of our favorites!
This is our local winery. It's fairly new to Fairhaven! We absolutely love the atmosphere. The winery is located on a small orchard. It offers local music and food trucks on the weekends. In addition, the winery is dog friendly as long as dogs are leashed. It's a perfect spot to unwind and grab a glass of your favorite wine.
This is a small local brewery. They serve pub food and offer their own beer on tap. It's a nice place to grab a drink after dinner or while exploring The New Bedford harborfront!
This little bakery is quite a gem! They offer the freshest baked goods including bagels, donuts and croissants. Be sure to get there early in the morning as the line starts to build prior to opening!
A local beach just over the bridge in Fairhaven. You can walk along the hurricane wall path to see the remains of Fort Phoenix. Though small, it offers a nice view of the harbor.
