Freshman year at Cal Poly Pomona, we were dorming only a few doors apart yet we met one night in the lobby where we spent the night playing card games. Halloween came around and we were going to a party, luckily Jas wanted a ride in the 350z and that was my opportunity. Although we never even went to a party, we spent the night cruising around, blasting music, having an amazing time. We got along so effortlessly and we just clicked. We stayed in the Z parked, talking until the sun rose the next day. This was the start to our lives together, where we would spend countless nights with each other. Unfortunately, after each night, we had to say our good byes and since the beginning I had made a promise to Jas that soon we would only have to say goodnight. It was a promise that I fought for every day and one day, I was able to finally make that true....

His promise to me was coming true, last summer we finally began to search for the perfect home to move in together. We found it! Now, all we needed to do is wait for the landlords go-ahead to move in, so in the meantime, I was at home finishing packing my stuff. That’s when I got a text from Ricky saying that the landlord wanted to do a walkthrough and to celebrate Ricky wanted to take me out to dinner after. At the moment it seemed strange, but I was so eager to finally move in that I didn’t think twice about it. I showered and changed quickly threw on the first dress I saw and rushed to the apartment, thinking I was late for this walkthrough. I park and open the door and there in the empty apartment are candles lit everywhere, rose petals all over the floor and my handsome man in the center with his hand stretched out to me. Next thing I know he is on his knee asking me to marry him, and with tears in my eyes, I say YES‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼
