Beginning at the Boston Common, it will see you pass through the Massachusetts State House, Old State House, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, Paul Revere House and the Old North Church (both in the historical North End), the USS Constitution, and ends at the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. Feel free to do any portion of the the trail -- it's a must for history buffs or those who want a compact pass through some of Boston's most important attractions!
This gorgeous public park and botanical garden are centrally-located and easily-accessible through the T (Boston's subway system). A quick jaunt from here you will find the bar that inspired the show Cheers, Back Bay, South End, Chinatown, and Downtown Crossing!
A must-see pilgrimage site for all baseball fans, Fenway has been home to the Boston Red Sox since 1912 and is the oldest active ballpark in MLB. Witnessing any game here is an incredibly intimate and exciting experience!
A beautiful museum with an impressive collection, including Van Gogh, Manet, Monet, Degas, Rembrandt, Velazquez, Goya, Renoir, Cezanne, El Greco, and many antiquities. It has a great collection without being overwhelming -- highly recommended!
A short walk from Faneuil Hall and the Old State House, this is truly an amazing aquarium that will impress kids and adults alike. We love the penguin habitat on the ground floor and the 200,000-gallon Giant Ocean Tank!
This neighborhood is full of gorgeous Victorian brownstones and is home to the Boston Public Library, Newbury Street, Copley Square, Prudential Center, and the John Hancock Tower. It is a great shopping destination, and a walk down Commonwealth Avenue is always lovely!
Just across the river from Boston, Cambridge is where we met in 2019 and lived together as we both went to grad school at Harvard. Also home to MIT, Cambridge is a gorgeous city. You may enjoy visiting Harvard Square, the Harvard Art Museum, Central Square, the Mt. Auburn Cemetery (it's not as creepy as it sounds!), or crossing the impressive Longfellow Bridge (a very short walk from Beacon Hill with incredible views of Boston and the Charles River Esplanade).
Trust us -- this may sound touristy and cheesy but is an incredibly unique and fun experience. Using replicas of amphibious vehicles from WWII, this tour will carry you through awesome Boston attractions on both land *and* sea. Three convenient departure points (at the Prudential Center, the Museum of Science in Cambridge, or the New England Aquarium) provide a lot of options.
Known for the Salem Witch Trials and its many witchy attractions, Salem has a lot more to offer. Guests may visit the Peabody Essex Museum, the House of the Seven Gables, the Salem Common, and sunset sails.
