Amanda's Story I was at Camp Cho-Yeh as a camp counselor for the summer of 2018. I would see Ricky occasionally around camp and I had some friends encourage me to get to know him. I thought he was cute but very intimidating; he was always glaring while life guarding. I was interested in getting to know him better but wanted to focus on my campers, so I really didn't do anything about it. Towards the end of the summer, I decided to commit to the Waypoint Internship that the camp provided for a year. I heard through the grape vine that Ricky was going to be an intern too. I got a little excited but told myself that we going to be nothing more than just friends. Was I wrong. Our first week of our internship we played a lot of team building games and "get to know you" games; that's when we clicked instantly and started to become friends. We hung out and spent a lot of time with each other for the next month or so and became close friends. We went to Austin, Texas to an off roading park together and that's when we both knew we liked each other. At the end of October he asked me to be his girlfriend and we sealed the deal with an awkward high five (The high five was definitely my doing). The rest is history! Ricardo's Story I came, I conquered, I won.
