Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Samantha Beckerle

Maid of Honor

Hi! My name is Samantha and I am one of Taylor’s Maids of Honor! I am currently a Labor and Delivery nurse down in Houston, Texas. I’ve known Taylor since 2017, but honestly, it’s like I’ve known her for my whole life. Taylor and I first crossed paths because we were in the same sorority, Kappa Delta at Texas Tech University! The “first” time I really met Taylor was freshman year of college. I was at home for the weekend in Plano, Texas and Taylor had sent a message in our sorority group chat asking if anyone in the DFW area would be able to take her back to Lubbock. And obviously since I wanted to be her friend (and I am just so kind) I offered to give her a ride! I remember when I picked her up her and her parents felt so bad when they realized that where I was coming from I was technically going backwards to pick her up and then go to lubbock, LOL. But that car ride, I knew I had made my lifelong best friend and sister, even if she would take photos of songs she liked like a grandma. And after that day, we were basically inseparable besties ever since. My sophomore year we lived literally 5 minutes walking distance from each other and we were both staying in lubbock that summer so we were always together! Fun fact, we also worked together for about a year at a Rehab Hospital! From going to sorority events, working together, and living together, I can truthfully say Taylor is one of my very best friends and I am forever grateful for our friendship.

Abby Payne

Maid of Honor

I'm Abby, and few things about me is that I love to read, travel, and write songs. One of my favorite places I've traveled is Scotland. I hope to live abroad one day, and Taylor will come visit me wherever I go! I am Taylor's cousin and have known her since she was born, but Taylor is so much more than that to me. Despite never having lived near each other, spending years apart as children, and not even being blood related, Taylor and I have always been sisters of the soul. We grew up always being outdoors together, exploring nature, and living in our imaginations. Throughout the years of living in two different states, we always tried to prioritize seeing each other at least once a year, and we facetime constantly! When COVID-19 happened, Taylor "firmly" encouraged me to read her favorite book series with her while she re-read it. Immediately we dove into reading this series, and then quickly moved to the author's other series since we had nothing to do while being in lockdown. We would facetime everyday to talk about the books, and by the end of the lockdown we had finished all of the author's books. Our covid/lockdown book club was one of our favorite memories together. After the lockdown, I came to visit Taylor in Lubbock, and I met Ricardo that weekend. I told Taylor that weekend that he was my future brother in-law. I knew then and there that they were soulmates. I am so excited to stand by and celebrate two of my favorite people on their big day!

Madison Lloyd

Bridesmaid

Hi my name is Madison Lloyd, and I am Taylor's greek little. I am currently a pediatric intensive care unit nurse in Houston, and I love every minute of it. I met Taylor when she was rushing me in our sorority Kappa Delta. I was her rush crush, and from that moment forward we were family. Taylor was always there for me through college - whether it was having a good time, studying together, or just having a girls night we made great memories together. Then Ricardo came into the picture, and I knew they were meant to be. They would take me for a night out in Lubbock, and we always had the best time. I call them my mom and dad, because Taylor was always my sorority mom! I can't wait to celebrate with Taylor and Ricardo on their big day!

Abby Del Toro

Bridesmaid

My name is Abby! I enjoy reading and the outdoors. I own a sweet Shepherd and love her dearly. Taylor and I met as random roommates at our college apartment. We bonded over books as soon as we both noticed each others collections. We talked about those books in detail and always found excitement when we both got to a part that revealed a new feature to the many characters we fell in love with. I knew that Taylor would be a life long friend, because she was kind, sweet, and such an amazing open minded person. Taylor always made me smile and provided Cleo as my cuddle buddy when I needed it. We had many fun times in that apartment and I’m so thankful to be a part of Taylor and Ricardo’s special day.

Jessica Fahsholtz

Bridesmaid

I had the pleasure of meeting Taylor during our first year together in the OTD program. We really bonded one morning before class when she asked if I liked to read, lucky for her I had just rediscovered my love for reading and happened to be in the middle of one of her favorite series. We hit it off from there and it's been non-stop laughs, jokes, and adventures since. I'm so grateful to have found a lifelong friendship in her and be a part of this special day. I look forward to many more memories with Taylor and Ricardo over old-timey country breakfasts, backyard BBQs, and other shenanigans :)

Katherine Villeda

Bridesmaid

Ricardo is my older brother whom we affectionately donned Mauri after his middle name. More well known for his role as comedian of our family unit, and my guide throughout my school decisions. Aside from making me laugh he is kind, strong minded, and resilient against all of the hardships he’s gone through. I couldn't have been blessed with a better big brother and I’m excited to gain a sister.

Alisson Villeda

Bridesmaid

As the youngest of the Villeda siblings I know Mauri as the most intelligent and funniest person I know. Mauri has been the smartest and best advocate for me and my sister growing up and he’s always taken care of us. My fondest memories with him are when he would ask me to make him up to 7 sandwiches in one sitting or when he would hog all the chocolate cereal. I couldn’t be more excited to see my brother marry his soulmate but also thrilled to get an older sister.

Jonathan Gonzalez

Best Man

I first met Ricardo, better known as Cardo to us, in middle school when we were just some silly kids. I didn’t realize the kid I had walked home with would become a lifelong friend to me. From playing sports to gaming to just needing to talk to someone, he has been the guy I could rely on; my best friend, my family. It makes me happy he met someone who lights his world up the same way he has always done for ours.

Kevin Weir

Groomsman

Ricardo and I go way back all the way to the good ole Armstrong lunch table. He’s been my boy ever since he kicked my butt in FIFA 12. We instantly became best friends and stayed that way to this day. I seriously don’t know how I would have done middle school and high school without him. My fondest memories of school were all involving him. I’m lucky to be able to call him a friend and couldn’t be more proud of him.

Olivia Nutter

Groomswoman

Hi I’m olivia! I met ricardo when I was a junior in highschool through other friends. He helped me through a really hard time and we became close really fast! He’s been one of my very best friends for around 6 years and we’ve been through so much together.

Shannon Mulkey

Groomswoman

I became friends with Ricardo in our junior year math class! His being a distraction from class resulted in a great friendship and he is probably the reason I am bad at math still, he also was always there if I didn’t have a plan for off campus lunch. Getting to be friends with Taylor through Ricardo is so special and I can’t wait to see them married!

Dylan Johnston

Groomsman

Ricardo and I had math class together, and we became great friends, despite our rough start. My house and Ricardo’s house became the hangout spots for our group of friends all the way through high school, and we share many great memories from these times. Spending time with Ricardo and his family was my first experience in a culture outside of my own, and they have had a great impact on my life. He and his extended family always welcomed and included me at gatherings. I consider Ricardo as a brother and I consider his family as my family as well.
