During the wedding and reception, gentlemen are asked to wear suits, and the ladies are asked to wear formal dresses.
Question

What are the accommodations?

Answer

We have reserved your rooms at the Cloister for Thursday, 10/31 through Sunday, 11/3 and will be covering your lodging, including taxes, fees, etc. You will be responsible for incidentals and meals outside of the wedding events. We do need RSVPs for lodging and wedding activities by 9/1/24. Please see room list for your personal confirmation number. Upon check-in, you can request special room set up if you need something different than what has been listed for you. We are pretty sure we have touched base with everyone, but we do need an RSVP for lodging, the lunch cruise, and golf in particular by 9/1.

Question

Can I extend my trip?

Answer

Yes! You will need to use your current confirmation number to access the info and request changes. If you plan to come in early or stay on, please contact (866)-411-0792. to speak with a Sea Island Reservationists (available seven days a week from 8:00 AM EST until 8:00 PM EST) about adding on to your reservation for the Gottung-Bruce Wedding Party.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

No. We have invited only our closest and immediate family (about 38 guests!) and decided to skip the Cotrupi nieces/nephews because... well, lets just say there are just too darn many! The grandkids and great grand niece (Taz, Summer, and Nash & Addy) will attend, but other kids are asked to stay at home. That said, we will be small but mighty.

Question

Will I be entertained?

Answer

Of course! The island offers plenty of activities and so many cool things to do on the Island. The weather should be mild (and the pools are heated). Please do check out the many activities, from fitness center to spa treatments to shooting clay pigeons! We also have several events planned, including a lunch harbor cruise, bowling, a golf scramble, and Sunday breakfast. See the schedule and the provided info for more info on activities. For the Reception, we hope you are ready to sing and dance, because we actually decided to bring in a band!

Question

What should I plan to wear?

Answer

The Cloister at Sea Island has some dress codes depending on restaurant/location, so do check out the website: https://www.seaisland.com/. Please see the schedule for more info on dress code for specific events.
