FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rian Brumbaugh and Alexey Sharabarin
Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Directions to the venue can be found in the location section of our wedding website. (The website is still in the works! Please be patient!) The venue is approximately 10 minutes from downtown Mt. Angel, and about 40 minutes from Salem. Please be aware: the final stretch of the drive is a narrow, windy gravel road. Drive slowly and carefully . There will be signs to guide you in, and parking will be available once you arrive. If you're coming in a low-clearance vehicle, don't worry, the road is manageable, just take your time!

Question

Is there parking on-site?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of free parking on-site. Look for signage and attendants who will help you find a spot.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm, so we recommend arriving by 3:45pm at the latest to allow time for parking and seating.

Question

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors on grass. The reception area will be shaded under a tent, but it may still be warm. Please dress accordingly and stay hydrated!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress in semi-formal/formal, but summer-friendly attire. The ceremony is on grass, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats. Expect warm weather; feel free to choose breathable fabrics and lighter colors! Think light fabrics, floral prints, and outfits you’d feel comfortable wearing to a summer celebration.

Question

Will it be hot?

Answer

It’s August in Oregon, so yes, it could be warm! The ceremony is outdoors and the reception will be under a tent with shade and airflow. We’ll have fans, water stations, and lots of refreshing drinks to help keep everyone cool.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors at a scenic venue surrounded by farmland, with a stunning view of Mt. Hood. Ceremony on the lawn, reception under a large tent. You can find directions and address details on the Venue page.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our favorite people! Due to venue size and our desire for an intimate gathering, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, you’ll see their name or “+ guest” on the envelope or RSVP. That being said, wedding planning is stressful! If we forgot somebody please reach out and let us know. We will do our best to accommodate. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance. Additionally, you can RSVP by scanning the QR code on your invitation, or by mailing back the RSVP card included in your invitation.
