After almost 10 years, neither one of us can truly recall the day we met... we've always been in each other's lives but we both know the day that we decided this was more than a friendship. There were inside jokes, small teases, harmless pranks, and endless chats between tennis lessons, English classes, and "accidental" run-ins in the hallways. (Those of you who've known us since the start may recall the infamous sticky notes and glitter fights) We finally worked up the nerve to come clean to one another about how we felt in the 8th grade, just a few days before Valentine's day, and on February 24th, 2017 we made it official (via a snapchat text of course... very of the time). High school was a blur but we certainly had some stand-out moments! We played on the tennis team together, made some amazing friends, were crowned homecoming king and queen, and got to be side by side for some major milestones. Then, it was off to Texas A&M where Ryan found his passion in Electrical Engineering and I studied Biomedical Science. We became Aggies through and through. Countless football games, tailgates, endless study sessions, midnight treks to Fuego, and of course drinks at O'Bannons. We met some of our best friends and created invaluable memories in our time there together. Now, nearly a decade after the start of it all, Ryan works an amazing job for an engineering consulting company doing exactly what he loves and I am attending veterinary school at A&M. Everyday, is a blessing to spend together and neither one us would change a single detail of our story. Cheers to us and we can't to celebrate with all of you! With love, Ria, Ryan, & Chewy!
