After being engaged for over a year and having no set plans (budget, busy schedules, indecisiveness:p) we decided we didn’t want to wait anymore. We decided a small ceremony and reception would be perfect for us! We had a grand reveal planned but the weather had other ideas.
We originally planned the ceremony to be held at the Gloss Mountains (beautiful btw) but the snow storm hit the worst that day. Instead, we had a lovely ceremony in our quickly redecorated kitchen. Our union was officiated by our dear friend Mel (everyone say thank you, Mel!!). After the ceremony we exchanged our vows in private, very sweet, very hard to read due to tears. We also planned for the reception to be a surprise, telling people we were hosting a “formal” party, weather did mess that up too lol. We did still have an amazing time with the people that were able to make it and wouldn’t change it for the world! <3
Our bestie Michael, a casual photographer of mostly nature, took all of our photos. He also took pictures during the proposal so it felt very special that he agreed to do our wedding. He did an amazing job and worked SO hard! We’re so grateful for friends like him. Everyone say thank you, Michael!!
Yes! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website! Due to the nature of our wedding, we absolutely do not expect gifts, so please do not feel obligated! We’ve had people ask so we made one anyways but again no pressure.
