This is a fun place to hang out! They have bowling, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, arcade games, giant scrabble and ski ball. There is a restaurant inside and full bar. For reservations, you can call (830) 214-6650 or place an online inquiry.
Gruene Grove
The Gruene Grove is a great place to go to listen to live music! It is an outdoor venue with two bars. The have a downstairs speakeasy and also offer food for purchase. They are a family owned business and good place to visit in Gruene.
Gruene Hall
Gruene Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas! They have live music everyday and are a must stop in Gruene. Last time I was there they were a cash only business. So bring your cash if you want to buy a drink. It is free to enter and they have a lot of historic memorabilia on the wall that is fun to look at.

Muck & Fuss Craft Beer and Burgers
Good eats and a variety of craft beers.
Sidecar
This is a smaller, underground spot for drinks. They do take reservations. There are next door to Muck and Fuss.
Moonshine & Ale
This is a fun place to sing a long with the piano player. They get busy fast so we recommended getting there early if you would like a table.
Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar
This is a popular restaurant on the River in Gruene. We recommend joining the waitlist before going to eat there. The Gruene Grove is in front of this restaurant so you can listen to live music while you wait.
Spud Ranch
This is a quick place to stop for a place to eat. The loaded potatoes are great!
Buc-ee's
If you are going to be in Texas, you have to make the stop at Buc-ee's. Yes it is a gas station but it is more than that! Great snacks, fun shopping and the cleanest bathrooms! Fun tourist type stop while your in town.
Lucy Cooper's Ice House
Fun place to go for good eats and fun drinks. This is a 21 and over venue.
