He was so perplexed on how to propose, and then he finally decided, on the spot after Church and breakfast, that 2 December 2018 would be the day! We split ways after breakfast to run our own errands, little did I know he was running errands relating to the proposal. I got home before he did (which kind of threw his plans out) and he then called me to say that he's stuck at the garage, I must come help. I hopped in my car, got to the garage and he was nowhere to be found. Fuming and crazy from worry, I called him multiple times to ask what was going on. He eventually answered my call, and told me I must come home (I knew that something was up by this time haha). I got home, parked my car, ready to storm in and give him a piece of my mind. I walked up to the front door, only to hear Bruno Mars' "I think I wanna marry you" blasting through the boombox, I was curious at this point. I opened the door, and there he was, on one knee, Balloons and rose petals all over the living room and a bottle of chilled champagne waiting for me. He barely managed to say the words "will you marry me" and I could barely get the word "YES" out as we both were caught off guard with a million emotions filling the room. "The rest is history" they say!
