The Circle has lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques! Our favorite restaurants are the Columbia (more details below), Shore Restaurant (don't let Cheryl convince you otherwise), and Blu Kouzina. For ice cream, you can't miss Big Olaf Creamery and Kilwin's.
If you aren't staying at the Resort, this is a great public beach. Only 15 minutes from downtown Sarasota with public parking, restrooms, and concessions.
Regularly ranked among the country’s top golf courses, The Resort at Longboat Key Club has earned Golf Digest’s prestigious “Best Places to Play” award and remains one of the most revered golf resorts on the Gulf Coast. Please note, the courses at Longboat Key Club are available to resort guests and members only.
Michael has been coming to Dry Dock for as long as he can remember! Located on the water, this al-fresco restaurant has a great ambiance and delicious menu. Michael loves the shrimp and Maddie recommends the lobster roll.
Located in St. Armand's Circle, the Columbia is an all-time favorite! You have to get the 1905 salad and sangria.
The Duryea's of Longboat Key - but the lobster salad isn't $100 ;) this location is a bit of a hike from the Resort, but it sits on the water and the vibes are immaculate. The food and drinks are top notch and they have a cute storefront!
Every year, we rent jet skis and cruise from the Gulf to the Bay! It's a great way to see the area and if you're lucky, you'll spot some dolphins. They love to hangout by the white house on the water. *We usually budget ~3 hours for this activity. You'll need to take a quick test to get your Florida boating license. (Don't worry, the answers are all on Google)
One of our favorite activities is biking around Longboat Key! If you're staying at the Resort, you can rent bikes at the front desk. We recommend biking to the marina to check out the boats.
It's more than just a grocery store... they have Pub Subs.
