We're Getting Married!

We met at work when I moved to Pittsburgh in 2021 and I started working at his company, but we really met at a bar! It all began on October 15th, 2021, at a lively bar crawl hosted by our company. Neither of us knew that night would mark the beginning of something so special. We ended the evening as cross-department friends, each with a new connection we weren’t expecting. What started as casual daily chats on Teams, soon blossomed into lunches together and texting outside of work.

One month later, on November 15th, we went on our first date. Wanting to keep things casual, Rhonda picked a slider restaurant —a place she couldn’t resist due to her love of mini hamburgers. The meal was simple, but the conversation, the company, and the connection was anything but. Looking back, it’s amazing to think how that chance meeting on a bar crawl led to the love we share today. From that first hello to the first “I love you,” every step has been a reminder of how lucky we are to have found each other by the grace of God.
