Tarry Lodge
Where John took Rhonda on her first trip to Westport. Great pizza and pasta! Located in the Saugatuck section of Westport it is walking distance to the Saugatuck River, Westport Auction House and Railroad place which has several wonderful stores.
The Whelk
Probably the best restaurant in Westport.
bartaco Westport
Fun, casual place right on the Saugatauck River. Great margaritas!
Little Barn
Our go to neighborhood place. Something on the menu for everyone.
Black Duck Cafe
Infamous dive bar. Awesome burgers.
Compo Beach
Awesome beach on the Long Island Sound. Passes are necessary only if you drive. Take an UBER and have them drop you off. The beach has "Joey's by the Shore" in case you get hungry or thirsty. Beach volleyball courts are always available and it is a great place to take a long walk along the shore.
Sherwood Island State Park
Great park and beach on the Long Island Sound. Only accessible by car and there is a daily fee.
Terrain garden café
Great Farm to Table food and a wonderful place to wander around. It has a lovely outdoor garden to eat in on a nice day as well as indoor seating. Free WIFI
Jesup Hall
A fun place to just hang and/or have good food. Lots of televisions, music, people and activity. In Westport's original Town Hall.
Rothbard Ale + Larder
In case you are yearning to have some real "bratwurst" and ale. A true European Gastropub, located underneath Jesup Hall or on the right side of the old Town Hall building. Located in the heart of Westport.
Little Kitchen Of Westport
Great Chinese food located near the Westport Playhouse.
Gold's Delicatessen
If you love great pastrami and a good old fashioned Deli, this is it!
Downunder Westport
Located next to the Saugatuck River, it is a great place to rent a kayak or a canoe. Easy water access!
Westport Country Playhouse
Tickets are always available for a performance. The play "Flyn' West" will be showing this time in June.

Located near the Norwalk Inn, great pan-latin food.
Longshore Sailing School and Rentals
A great place to rent a sailing boat. It is located near Compo Beach. Just make sure you bring ID.
Earthplace
Full of rescued wild animals that you can see up close and personal. A wonderful place for taking a walk/hike through their woods. Need a car or Uber to get there.
amis trattoria
Located in the heart of Westport, great italian food. It is owned by Anthropology (next door) which is now housed in what was originally a man's hotel (Bedford Hotel) and then up until recently, the Westport Y.
Westport Historical Society
In case you are curious about the history of Westport. Interesting exhibits generally about the people who have lived in this town and their accomplishments. In a National Landmark building.
Artisan
In the Delamar Hotel in Southport. Great place for food and especially drinks on a warm night Outdoor seating is fantastic.
Rive Bistro
On the Saugatuck River, delicious french bistro food. Outdoor seating as well.

If you love antique cars this is the place to visit.
Westport Auction House
Located in Saugatuck, this is a fun place to check out if you like "good old" things. It is near Tarrylodge, the Black Duck, The Whelk and Railroad Place (lots of stores).

Westport's excellent 18 hole golf course. BOOK AHEAD!
The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk
One of the best aquariums in the country. Located near SONO - South Norwalk which has lots of good restaurants, shops and galleries.
Isabelle et Vincent Bakery
The most amazing French bakery, you will feel like you are in France. They also have tables for you to grab something to eat and have a fresh cup of coffee.
