We are so excited to celebrate with you in such a fun and unique setting! Since this isn’t a traditional venue, we wanted to share a few tips so you can be comfortable, prepared… and ready for a little adventure.
The festival is fully outdoors with: • Dirt and gravel pathways • Uneven ground • Natural terrain (including mud if it rains) Think whimsical, lively… and occasionally a little messy—that’s part of the charm!
After parking, head to the Reserved Ticket Window (Will Call) with a photo ID. You’ll receive your party’s tickets, and we’ll check your name off our guest list. The Reserved Ticket Window is far left of the ticket office by the front gate. Arrival timing: Even though our wedding is at 11:00 AM, we recommend arriving at or before 10:00 AM. This gives you time to pick up tickets, hit the privy, and find a seat.
The Wedding Garden is straight ahead from the front gate.
Our ceremony is outdoors, and Texas weather likes to keep things interesting. If It Rains • The ceremony will still take place outdoors • The ground may be muddy or damp • Bringing a small umbrella is a great idea If There’s a Storm • We may briefly pause or delay to let it pass • If there is any lightning, our ceremony may be moved. • Prepare for muddy roads and wet wedding benches. • Consider bringing a small umbrella, towel and rain boots.
• Walk carefully—some areas may be slick • Take your time (no rushing needed!) • Expect a bit of dust or mud depending on conditions
If there is any rain, the ground can get: • muddy • slick • unpredictable We highly recommend: • Boots/Rain Boots • Closed-toe shoes • Flats you don’t mind getting dirty Not recommended: • Heels - they will sink and we cannot save you • Anything delicate or hard to walk in If you’re unsure—choose comfort over fashion. You’ll be glad you did. Muddy shoes tip: Even if your shoes do great inside the faire, the walk back to your car can get messy. Bring plastic bags/grocery bags so you can bag up muddy shoes without getting mud all over your car. Don’t forget backup shoes (and even a change of clothes) for the ride home.
• Wear something you’re comfortable moving around in • Consider hem length (longer outfits may pick up dirt or mud) • Light layers are helpful for changing weather
• Sunscreen is still a good idea—even on cloudy rainy days • Stay hydrated
This is not a traditional venue—and that’s exactly why we chose it. There will be: • Festival activity • Music and performers • A little weather (or a lot), mud, and a lot of personality We invite you to relax, laugh, and enjoy the moment with us
Your presence means everything to us. Whether it’s sunshine, a little mud, or a mix of both, we’re just happy to celebrate together in a place that feels magical and completely “us.” We can’t wait to see you there—adventure and all!
