Matron of Honor
I met Sarah late in 2014 through mutual friends and she later became my little sister, and just like that (thanks to Alpha Xi Delta) I had been given the gift of one of my dearest friends. Sarah keeps me humble, helps me to laugh (mostly at myself), and I could not imagine our wedding day without Sarah standing up next to me!
Maid of Honor
Lesley is the third member of our sweet Auburn trio! Lelly is our fiercest advocate, our window to the world of the millennial (Sarah and I are utter grandmas), and the person I call to complain about any small inconvenience. She is always there for you when you need her and I am so excited to have her stand up with me next October 8!
Bridesmaid
Alli is my oldest friend! We met before we even started Kindergarten as new members of our local Girl Scout Troup. As we've gotten older I have been blessed to have her to lean on through college and adulthood. Distance has made us stronger - and I'm so happy to have this hometown honey as a part of our big day.
Bridesmaid
Meredith is my newest friend! She moved to the city in early 2020 after getting married and we became fast friends. Meredith is my go-to coffee date and a fellow dog Mama. I am so excited for her to bring all of her big smiles and goofy jokes with her to Newport in October 2022.
Bridesmaid
Nicole and I met during the year I spent in Law School after college! During some of the most stressful days, I've ever experienced Colie was there to pick me up and helped motivate me to perform my best under immense pressure. She has one of the kindest souls I've ever encountered and I am so blessed to be her friend.
Bridesmaid
Katie is my cousin and has always been someone I've looked up to. During my Sophomore year of high school, Katie served as my confirmation sponsor and we have been blessed to share just about every significant moment of each other's lives with one another. I am so excited to enter another important phase of my life with Katie by my side!
Bridesmaid
Grace is A.J.'s sweet cousin and the piece-de-resistance of our bridal party. Her bubbly personality and positivity are only a few of the special traits she shares with A.J. Having family involved in our day is so important to us and it means so much to have Grace standing by my side!
Best Man
I met my best man in 2002 when we were in the same 1st grade class. Throughout the years we went to elementary, middle, and high school, played on countless little league teams, and even rocked out in the middle school band together. There will always be laughs when we are around each other, especially while on one of his famous adventures. Derek has had my back for 20 years and I now have the pleasure of having him by my side when getting married.
Groomsman
High school was never the same after meeting Zach on the lunch room patio our freshman year. Together we won back-to-back team DECA competitions and even more surprisingly we somehow managed to get our teachers to sit us together in class. Trying to keep a straight face while Zach cracked jokes to me was almost as challenging as stopping him from eating the snack I brought to class every time I got up to turn in our classwork.
Groomsman
Abdullah and I attended elementary and high school together. We quickly became friends at the elementary school bike racks where we were both stationed as our school’s Safety Patrol Officers. The halls were never safer than when we were on the beat. Even when the school’s gate keys were lost we still helped all the kids grab their bikes and get home.
Groomsman
I couldn’t imagine having a better future brother-in-law and groomsman than Ryan. Getting to know him over the past few years has given me the brother I never had. There’s never a dull moment when we are together, whether it’s an Auburn tailgate, hitting the links, deep-frying a turkey, or watching you enjoy your first beer ever on your 21st birthday.
Groomsman
Nick was one of my first friends after our family moved to Tampa and we lived across the street from each other. Summer vacations would not have been the same without him and I playing up and down our street, shooting off bottle rockets, and eating countless panini sandwiches. Nick is one funniest people I have ever met with his deadpan delivery but, to me, he is best well known for his legendary, last minute Halloween costumes.
Groomsman
Michael and I met spring semester our freshman year of college pledging Delta Sigma Pi. During our time in college, we were roommates, classmates with the same major, and fast-food salad experts. Having Michael as a roommate meant no shortages of laughs and what-if scenarios about future shark tank business ventures. College would not have been nearly as great without him across the hall from me.
Groomsman
I would never have thought such a strong friendship would start in the basement of the college of business the spring our freshman year. We met pledging Delta Sigma Pi and from then on Garrett was always there for me no matter what, when or where. Through the years we were go-to bunk mates on weekend trips and vacations, always ready to cheer on the Tigers in whatever sport was in season, and self-appointed PBR representatives for more than a few late nights downtown.
