Sacramento Airport

You'll probably want to rent a car if you're flying in for the wedding! While Ubers and Lyfts do exist in this part of California, they are not reliable at all hours of the day (and are often incredibly expensive!). The Sacramento Airport is generally a cheaper airport to fly into than the Reno Airport, and is an hour and 15 minute drive to Nevada City.

The Reno Airport is another option, if you aren't finding flights you like into the Sacramento airport! This will be a tough airport to drive into Nevada City from if we're dealing with stormy weather the weekend of the wedding -- just be aware! This airport is about a two hour drive from Nevada City.

If you opt to stay here, the restaurant at the hotel (Lola) serves fabulous breakfast, brunch, and dinner (and the bartenders are fabulous)!

We have a room block at this hotel! This is where the groomsmen will be staying, and is our second choice only because it's a short drive to the venue (instead of a walk, like The National Exchange Hotel). It is definitely not lacking in style or luxury! Owned by the same folks that own the National Exchange, this will be a bit cheaper of a stay, as it's about a 5-7 minute drive to downtown Nevada City and the wedding ceremony. Don't let that stop you from staying here, though -- the hotel has just been beautifully renovated, and sits right on Main Street in the fabulous downtown district of Grass Valley. Lots of wonderful restaurants and shopping to walk to from here, too!

Gold Miners Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection

Note: We do not have a hotel block here. The Gold Miners Inn is a popular choice for folks coming to stay in Nevada County! A part of the "Ascend Collection", this clean and comfortable hotel is also in a great location in downtown Grass Valley. This is walking distance from the shopping and dining on Main Street, and only a 5-7 minute drive to the ceremony and downtown Nevada City.

AirBnB or VRBO!

Are hotels looking too expensive or maybe not that fun? Bringing your whole family or a bunch of friends for the weekend? AirBnBs and VRBOs are a good option! Double check and make sure that your rental has access to good wi-fi, and make sure you get a rental car if need be to drive from your rental to the party.
