Right next to our hotel blocks and is easily the best ramen in North Carolina. It's very popular, so if you want a seat, try to go when the restaurant opens. Also, be sure to get an extra marinated egg (they are so good).

Noodle Blvd

Very unique indoor mini-golf course. Perfect for groups of 2 to 4 players.

ParTee Shack

We recommend the Dracula escape room. You won't be disappointed.

Nerd Escape Room Raleigh

Downtown Raleigh restaurant specializing in hand-made desserts and craft cocktails.

Bittersweet

Brewery and brunch spot with picturesque views of downtown Raleigh. Be sure to try the fried brussels sprouts (seriously, they are amazing). Warning: street parking only.

Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewing

A bit of a drive, but a fantastic place to get quality southern food. Be sure to try the grits or the cheddar biscuit.

Foster's Market

Best BBQ place in the triangle. Specializes in Eastern North Carolina BBQ (vinegar base). The fried catfish is also amazing. When ordering sides, be sure to ask for the sweet potato muffin and NOT the cornbread.

Best sushi in Raleigh and right in the heart of downtown.

Phenomenal music venue where we first started falling in love. Bigger acts perform in the main room while the backroom is perfect for finding the next big band. Cheap tickets, cheap drinks, and a good time.

Cat’s Cradle

Great soup and sandwich shop near our hotel block. They also have an amazing rotating menu of pastries if you want to cheat on your diet.

Chanticleer Cafe & Bakery

Sushi and burger bar that's perfect for sushi lovers and haters alike.

The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar

Tapas bar that we went to the day after we got engaged and for Bekah's Ph.D. graduation celebration. Get the olive oil cake if you want to treat yourself.

Barcelona Wine Bar

Cary's best brewery and only a short drive from our hotel block. Has unique food trucks nearly every day. Be sure to stop by Pro's Epicurean next door for dessert.

Bond Brothers Beer Company

One of North Carolina's most unique breweries sporting all sorts of off-the-wall beers. If you like your beer strong, this is the place for you.
