Things To Do

We're getting married in the neighborhood we live in (that's how much we love it!). Here are a few of our favorite places to visit in the neighborhood. Street parking is free on most streets in German Village, but be mindful that some streets have time limits. Be sure to check the signage when you park.
Schiller Park

Schiller Park

1069 Jaeger Street, Columbus, OH 43206

Our favorite park in the city, and someplace we walk nearly every day. Take a stroll around the walking path.

Pistacia Vera

Pistacia Vera

541 South 3rd Street, Columbus, OH 43215

For a sweet treat, try Pistacia Vera. Delicious French pastries and breads.

The Book Loft of German Village

The Book Loft of German Village

631 South 3rd Street, Columbus, OH 43206

More than a bookstore, the Book Loft offers endless rooms to get lost in. A quintessential German Village experience.

Winans Coffee & Chocolate

Winans Coffee & Chocolate

897 South 3rd Street, Columbus, OH 43206

For a coffee or other refreshing drink after a walk in the park, Winan's is a great choice.

Antiques on High

Antiques on High

714 South High Street, Columbus, OH 43206

NOT an antique shop! This is a good bar to sit and have a beer or cocktail. Often has a food truck, or visit nearby Emmett's or Chocolate Cafe for lunch.

The Brown Bag Delicatessen

The Brown Bag Delicatessen

898 Mohawk Street, Columbus, OH 43206

Skip the more touristy Katzinger's and try Brown Bag for the best sandwich of your life. Get it to-go and picnic at a table in nearby Schiller Park.

For all the days along the way
