Tim and Natalie met at Victory Life Church while they were both attending college at Texas Tech in 2016. They were even in the same Bible study group! After the beginning of the semester, they became good friends and they started to grow closer together. They dated for a short time and even went to the Garth Brooks concert when he came to Lubbock in the spring of 2017. Soon though, they parted ways and didn't keep up with each other as they both began their own separate paths towards becoming teachers. Little did they know that they would both teach in the same district (Frenship ISD) for a year in 2021-2022! On July 8th, 2023, Tim made a Facebook announcement that he was headed to Fort Worth to attend seminary at Southwestern. Natalie reached out, as she had recently moved back to the DFW area and wanted to catch up. Natalie had no idea if he would remember who she was, but he did! They hit it off after only a short time messaging one another and they began to catch up on the last seven years of their lives. Once Tim had officially made the move to Fort Worth, they went on their "second first date" almost exactly 12 hours after Tim had gotten his keys to his housing at Southwestern. They would make it "official" by the end of July. Tim and Natalie's prayers have surely been answered and they are thankful to God for several reasons. They are thankful that the Lord brought them back together at just the right time. They are thankful for the friendship that God has established between them nearly 7 years ago. They are thankful that He had already written the story for their lives to come back together, even when they didn't know it. They are especially thankful that the Lord orchestrated this relationship and that He has made it His plan for them to get married! Tim and Natalie got engaged on Thanksgiving Day, 2023 and look forward to tying the knot on June 8th, 2024!
