Matron of Honor
Betsy and Sidney have been best friends since childhood. They grew up together, going to the same schools, playing the same sports, and even rooming together in high school! Now, they live a mere 5 mins apart to make wedding planning a breeze (or a quick drive). Keep an eye out for Betsy's son, Ezra, as a ring bearer!
Best Man
The friendship started before either was born. The Johnson and Wilson families have known each other for a long time. As kids, they grew up together on the same street. They played football together for several years, and Tyler would come back from college to catch Jack’s games at Augie. Over the years, Jack and Tyler have enjoyed many lake days, late-night gaming sessions, and many things in between.
Bridesmaid
Katie and Sidney met in high school and after finding a shared love of hockey, being the best of friends was a no-brainer. They frequently go to hockey games, play volleyball, and even work together on the same floor at Sanford! They share a love of traveling and spent 3 weeks exploring Europe in 2024 (and almost didn't come back)!
Groomsman
Payton and Tyler met while playing football right before they started middle school together. They continued to be great friends through high school and roomed together at college. The guys enjoy a lot of hobbies together, including gaming, DnD, and Magic: The Gathering.
Bridesmaid
With Maddie being the middle child and Sidney being the oldest child, they did not always get along the best. But, as with many sibling relationships, they grew out of that. Now, Maddie lives with Sidney. They love watching Harry Potter and frequently discuss the books they are reading (they have quite the library at their house)!
Groomsman
Wyatt and Tyler met in middle school, where they played football together and enjoyed many nights gaming. During college, both made several trips to either SDSU or USD to see each other.
Bridesmaid
Allison and Sidney met at a college job at WLC. They left together on their first day and bonded over how bad the job was! It was an immediate friendship. They lived together the next semester at WLC, and when Sidney told Allison that she wasn't coming back to WLC the next year, only a few tears were shed. Since then, Sidney and Allison have taken a few trips across the US and don't plan to stop anytime soon.
Groomsman
Alex and Tyler met at church shortly before they went to middle and high school together. Their enjoyment of physics pushed both down the path of engineering. The guys made an effort to see each other often during college by meeting with other friends halfway between Brookings and Lincoln, or Alex hosting friends at UNL. Over the years, they have spent time gaming, playing DnD, and bantering over sports teams.
