Best Man
We first met playing little league baseball and won a championship together (not a big deal). The only way to describe this human is with two words; HIGH MOTOR. He runs on White Claw and is probably the most social person you will ever meet. Don’t let him near a Jacks pizza unless you want the fire department to show up at your house. Ask him about our New Year’s Extravaganza in 2018.
Maid of Honor
Chelsey is my younger sister. She was not always the sister I wanted, but always the sister that I needed. She was a rebel-child growing up, but grew into one of my closest friends. She is one of the most creative people I know and is so talented in many different ways. Chels is always willing to share her talents when I need a favor, although it usually requires some form of bribery (food or booze). She is always a good time and can always make you laugh in any situation. I have always been extremely thankful for our relationship and to have her as my sister.
Groomsman
John and I met in high school playing sports together. You might as well call him “Mr. Reliable”, because he is always there if you need him. Everything in his life is a calculated decision, so don’t bother looking for him at a blackjack table. Need advice on your 401K? Ask John. Need a business evaluation? Ask John. Need life advice about anything? Ask John. John is the type of person you would want your daughter to marry.
Maid of Honor
Tessa is my youngest sibling. She is not your typical youngest sister. Tessa tends to be the "mom" of the group when the 3 sisters are together. She is extremely protective over her siblings, yet remains calm in any given situation. Tessa is always the one to speak up when Chelsey and I are too shy to do so ourselves (this comes in handy when she notices any creepy man even looking our way). Even though she tends to be the mom of the group, she is always up for a good time. I am extremely grateful to have Tessa as my sister, close friend, and the best Godmother to my dogs.
Groomsman
Koby and I first met playing 8th grade football. However, you wouldn’t know it from seeing the wounded ducks he was throwing as a high school QB. He is the person who gave me the nickname “Nelly”. Koby enjoys his Saturdays by mowing the grass while towing a cooler of Naturdays and daring his son Dixon to jump in the bull pen at their family farm. Koby is laid back and always enjoys throwing back a few cold ones with the boys while we reminisce on our glory days. Don’t bother trying to call this guy on a Sunday during football season because he’ll be glued to the TV, screaming obscenities, while he watches his 14 fantasy teams finish at a mediocre 8-8. Maybe next year bud.
Bridesmaid
Jackie was my very first friend (outside of family). We met in kindergarten and have remained close friends for over 25 years now. Jackie and I have always gotten along extremely well and we always have a good time when we are together. Over our friendship, there are more memories and inside jokes than I can count. She is the type of friend you can always count on. I am very thankful to have her as a life long friend.
Groomsman
Justin and I grew up down the street from each other. Another little league all-star (again… not a big deal). We played every sport you could think of from sun-up to sun-down. Most nights would end up in a sleep over and our parents would have to scream at us to come inside for dinner. J-Money (as I call him) loves the outdoors and is your go-to if you want to talk trucks. Jacked up trucks, country music, and Busch Lite is what this man lives for. Have you ever watched “You Betcha” on Youtube? If you have, you know Justin. He has a thick Minnesotan accent, always wants to grill burgers, and probably talks down on his neighbors for not cutting their grass every 72 hours. He is one of the hardest working people I know, and if you catch him sleeping past sunrise it’s a miracle.
Bridesmaid
Keisha and I met in 7th grade softball. Our coach grouped us together because of our unique names (Rhianon and Lakeisha). We ended up playing softball together for many years and became very close friends over the years. She is such a loyal friend not only to me, but my family members as well. She is always willing to help, listen to me vent about anything, and down to have a good time.
Groomsman
Another home town friend, Nick and I met in middle school. Nick was a man-child back in the day and terrorized the Baltimore Orioles (Mine and Stocke’s team). Might as well call him Albert Pujols, because he was hitting nonstop dingers and everyone knew it. Nowadays, Nick and I spend time on the golf course where we bully our friends and usually leave with a nice pile of cash from winning side wagers. So much in fact, our friends claimed their losses as a tax write off last year and now refuse to face our dynamic duo. Nick is very kind and the type of person that is easy to strike up a conversation with, just don’t do it too late because this man is up at 5 a.m. with a nice cup of joe ready to get the day started.
Bridesmaid
Hannah has been a family friend for most of my life, but we became closer after high school. Hannah is adventurous and always making me go on new adventures with her, whether its traveling, concerts, or finding a new restaurant. Hannah is always there when you need her. Hannah and I share a love for food, and luckily for me- she loves to have me taste test her new recipes.
Groomsman
Casey and I first met playing intramural hockey at UW-Stout and eventually became roommates. This guy lives for hockey, golf, and the outdoors. Honestly, it’s hard to get ahold of him because he’s either working 60 hours a week or off the grid for the weekend (assuming he gives you his new burner cell number). Casey and I still play hockey together and he loves to stick handle and throw sauce passes when he’s not trying to run the tendy and “make it look like an accident.” When we can get him to hang out with us, Casey is always good for some laughs. He is constantly cracking jokes, and probably the only other person I know that laughs the hardest at their own jokes. If you want to get a good conversation going, ask him if he thinks the earth is flat or if he believes in aliens.
Bridesmaid
Tiff is Dan's oldest sister. She has always made me feel very welcome and is always so friendly. We became close after I moved to Duluth. We enjoy hikes with the dogs, trying new restaurants for french onion soup and shopping (Tiff is always giving me discount tips). I miss being able to see her more often now that we moved back to the cities, but we still get to enjoy regular facetime calls.
Groomsman
Darian and I first met in college, and he was another roommate of mine who happens to be hometown friends with Casey (Go Albert Lea Tigers!). Remember how Casey enjoys the great outdoors? Well forget all that for this guy. D-train (as I call him) would much rather spend his days at the country club, sipping a Bud Light Seltzer, and talking about how his fleet of rental cars are getting burned down in the Minneapolis riots. He does enjoy a frequent bike ride, but only if it’s around Lake Minnetonka. Darian is always down to hang with the boys, and he is the go-to if you need a golfing partner you can count on.
Bridesmaid
Kayla is Dan's younger sister. What I love most about Kayla is that she always has my back and will put Dan in his place if needed. However, when she is with Chelsey and Tessa she can join right in with the sisterly banter. Kayla is always a good time and can always make me laugh.
Usher
Mitch is my younger brother. He is always happy and joking around. Mitch added a lot of..... fun chaos throughout our childhood, and into adulthood. He is the master of thoroughly planned pranks, whether it is recreating a scary movie moment or throwing a live fish on me while I sunbathe. All pranks aside, me and Mitch have always shared a close bond.
Usher
Mikayla is my soon to be sister-in-law. I am very lucky to have her as part of the family. She is extremely helpful and always willing to lend a hand. Mikayla does her best to keep my prankster brother in line, and always comes to my defense when he sneaks a prank by her.
Greeter
The significant other to Tessa. This guy has been hanging around North St. Paul since the mid 90’s. Obsessed with baseball and basketball growing up, he only dreamed of having the all-star talent that came out of Hermantown, MN (see groomsmen bios). Now much older and a little wiser, Dunna (as we call him) enjoys taking Dan out on the golf course to sand bag his friends in money matches. You would think with his 6’ 3” frame he would be intimidating, but he is far from it. This big teddy bear is very social which is why we chose him to be one of our greeters. There’s no need for him to tell jokes when he’s got dance moves that would make Napoleon Dynamite laugh. If this guy worked as hard as he plays Xbox he would be a billionaire by 30.
Greeter
I have known Jordan since high school. Jordan has always been one of my SWEETEST friends. He is so supportive, happy, and fun to be around. I am very thankful to have a friend like him in my life. I will forever cherish all of our inside jokes and adventures in the past and look forward to the memories yet to be made.
Personal Attendant
Jessie was my very first boss. She is a very special person to me in many ways. Jessie has always been a role model, a mentor, and a close friend. She has taught me many life lessons and I have learned from her to enjoy life in the moment and not let little things stress me out. She is the only boss that can train you to be a good employee, and at the same time teach you to stop working and enjoy life.
Personal Attendant
Robin is my aunt, Godmother and good friend. She has been a role model for me my entire life and pushed me to be a better person. She is always there with a smile when I need her for anything. I have always enjoyed our long chats and how well we get along. I am very thankful to have such a special person in my life.
