What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Once it begins, guests will not be permitted to take their seats.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding will be semi-formal. Please avoid dark colors (no black, navy, dark gray, etc). We encourage guests to dress polished and elevated while remaining comfortable. Women: Midi dresses, wrap dresses, elevated jumpsuits Men: Dress pants with a button-down shirt; blazer optional Please note that jeans, sweatshirts, or overly casual attire are not part of the dress code. We can’t wait to celebrate in style with you!

We are having an unplugged ceremony, please take this time to soak in the moment with us without phones. Our amazing photographer and videographer will capture every moment. At cocktail hour and our reception, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you wish. Send them to us, please!

Will transportation be provided?

We are currently exploring shuttle options for guests staying at our hotel block. More details will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes! The venue is wheelchair accessible. We will also provide a golf cart shuttle for guests with mobility needs to reach the ceremony site. If you have specific accessibility concerns, please reach out—we’re happy to help.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes! Parking will be free and readily available on-site. Rideshare services (Uber & Lyft) are also widely available for those planning to celebrate with drinks.

Will there be a bride's side & groom's side?

Yes. Seating will be arranged by bride and groom sides. Please follow signage or coordinator guidance upon arrival. Guests who feel connected to both are welcome to sit on either side.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Yes! Invitations for additional events will go out in early 2027. Our Welcome Party on July 23rd is open to all guests.

What will be served at the reception?

Dinner will be served buffet-style. We’re going with an Italian-Mediterranean-inspired menu 🍝 If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please note them on your RSVP.

Absolutely! We’ll have a dessert table with assorted treats, including ice cream from Waxhaw Creamery 🍨

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Beer and wine will be complimentary for all guests 21+. The bar will close at 9:45pm. Enjoy drinks responsibly! Please remember that strictly no liquor is allowed to be consumed on property & by law, no alcohol may be served to or drunk by anyone under the age of 21 years old. For those under legal drinking age, non-alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the evening!

Will the ceremony be outside? What is the weather like?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony & Cocktail Hour will be outside, with the reception to follow indoors. Our wedding will be in July in North Carolina, so expect warm, possibly humid weather. There’s also a chance of rain, so bringing a light raincoat or umbrella is a smart idea. We’ll have some shade and fans available to keep everyone comfortable.
