FAQs

Question

Is there a plan for inclement weather?

Answer

Our wedding will be entirely outdoors. If it rains, we will have both the ceremony and reception in the open air pavilion. If the forecast calls for dangerous weather, we will make updates as forecast information is available.

Question

I'm coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

There is not one specific hotel where guests can or should stay. Please review the options around the metropolitan area that we recommend on the Travel page. The two hotels are close to the airport and venue. We're also a fan of home rentals through Airbnb, Homeaway, or Flipkey. They are a great option especially if you're coming as part of a larger group!

Question

Where should I park at the venue?

Answer

Feel free to park in the lot immediately to the left when you turn into the drive. Please do not park in the driveway near the house.

Question

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Yes! There is a paved walkway from the parking and reception area down to the ceremony site. Restrooms at the pavilion are accessible as well.

Question

What is the weather typically like in Kansas City in early June?

Answer

Highs are typically in the low 80s and lows are typically in the low to mid 60s.
