FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

So that we can finalise catering and seating plans, we ask for your RSVP by the 31st of July 2026. Unfortunately, if there is no RSVP received, we will need to assume you are unable to attend.

Question

Will you be having a gift registry or wishing well?

Answer

Whilst our greatest gift is you being able to attend, if you do wish to contribute to our future, we will have a wishing well inside the venue.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Whilst we love your little ones, we will be having a child free wedding. For those with babies less than 10 months, please reach out to either Lachlan or Rhiannon if you would like to bring them so we can account for this in the seating plan. We would love to see everyone's little ones at the recovery day on the Sunday. There is an arcade at Welcome to Thornbury which will help when the boredom kicks in!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that all guests have arrived and are seated/standing for the ceremony at 4.15pm, for a 4.30pm start time.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate for those listed on the official invite. If you have received a plus one, this will be included.

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be in the alfresco space of the venue, and the reception will be held indoors. Thankfully the alfresco space is mostly covered so we don't need a contingency plan!

Question

What if I have dietary requirements?

Answer

Not a problem at all! Pop your requirements along with your RSVP and the venue will look after you.

Question

Are drinks included?

Answer

Absolutely, the drinks are on us! Beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic options will be included on the wedding day. At the recovery, we will have a small tab for beer, wine and spirits (our way to say thank you!). Once that is utilised, drinks can be purchased at the bar. Food is available from a number of food trucks at the venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Dress Code.
