Are children invited?
Answer
As much we love your little ones we request this is an adult only celebration with the exception of immediate family and dependents under the age of 3 years (please refer to your specific invitations).

Why is the wedding venue a secret location?
Answer
We want to keep the element of surprise for all guests.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
Yes, a Coach service will be available on the day of the wedding to take all guests to the venue and return service to pick up location (Please select the time you would like to return on the RSVP). Pick up location Boeira Garden hotel Porto at 12:45

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?
Answer
Yes, the ceremony, wedding breakfast and after party is all in the same venue.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place inside, however some elements of the day are outdoors (weather depending). There will be lots of shaded/seating areas provided.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RVSP by 31st March 2026 using the form on our website. If you do not RVSP by this time we assume you are unable to attend

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins we ask that all phone be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present and for our photographers to be able to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you.

Can I post photos/vidoes on social media?
Answer
We are happy for guests to post your own pictures on social media but we request you don’t not post anything including the bride and groom until we have done so ourselves.

Is there an open bar on the wedding day?

Yes, the drinks are on us but the hangover is on you.. get ready to party!

What time will the celebrations start and end?

Celebrations will start at 2pm and will end at 3am

Wedding gifts
Answer
The best gift is having you share our special day. Should you wish to contribute in some other way, we would love a few pennies to put in our pot for our honeymoon trip away.

Hairdresser for guests
Answer
We’re aware some of the guests would like their hair done on the day, we are waiting for the hotel to send us their recommendations and will post their details here so you are able to contact the salon and manage your own appointments.

What is Porto like?
Answer
It’s a beautiful city with lots to see and do but it is very hilly so pack sensible shoes if you’d like to go explore.

We highly recommend using the Uber or Bolt app as they are very reasonable/plentiful during the summer months.
