Rhiannon and I met my sophomore year of college. I met her at a DZ rush event and the connection was instant. After that Rhiannon quickly became my person. The person to call when life felt like too much. The person who was always down to grab a beer and some wings. The one who was ready for any adventure (like dancing on top of a u-haul in South Carolina). Most importantly she was the person who I knew was always a loyal friend no matter what. Rhiannon is basically family now, my mom calls her her bonus daughter and I consider her my sister and honorary big. I’m so happy Western brought us together. She is so driven, ambitious, funny, and I’m so lucky I get to look up to her. I love you Rhi and I’m so excited to celebrate you and Allie’s love.

I first met Allison in 1990, when mom and dad brought her home from the hospital wrapped in a little pink blanket. I was proud of her when I got to hold her in my arms for the first time, and I’m still proud of her some 30 years later. In all the years we’ve spent together she’s shown me what courage, love and loyalty look like, and I’m one lucky guy to get to call her my sister, best friend, and partner in crime. We have many wonderful memories, and I look forward to to making more with both Allison and Rhiannon in the future. --

Ive been calling Rhiannon my best friend since the 10th grade, but fun fact - to this day I have a sign Rhi made for me in 8th grade on my wall at my parents house. We were inseparable for 2 years and even when we went off to college I can’t remember a time we were both in hickory and didn’t make arrangements to get together. We were together during some of the most awkward growing times in our life and looking back I can’t believe how much we’ve both grown. I remember a time when Rhiannon said she didn’t think she would ever marry and I am so thrilled she found Allison. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the two of you and I am so excited to share the special time with y’all.

Allison and I met in graduate school & I can honestly say despite the stress of school and stupid part time jobs, i had some of the best times of my life thanks to Allie Anne. She is the best research partner, drinking buddy, classmate, tutor, adventure buddy and friend. I laugh thinking about almost every memory I have with Allison and I’m so happy to see her happy and can’t wait to be there for her big day.

Rhiannon and I met on good ol’ social media, Instagram particularly. Oddly enough, I was a huge Rhallie fan before we even knew each other. When I moved to Denver, Rhiannon was the first friend I made who welcomed me with open arms. I was new to the whole being sober thing and living life in recovery, but Rhiannon was easily one of the biggest supporters I could have asked for. Although my journey has taken me to different cities, it has had zero effect on our friendship. I’m grateful that distance has only made me cherish this friendship even more as well as proven to me that I’ve gained a life long friend.

Allison and I met through my roommate and I am so lucky that I met her. I have so many memories that make me laugh into tears with Allie. She’s one of the most loyal people I have ever met and beyond kind. Some of my fondest memories are our heart to hearts and constant laughter we would have. Her and I could always tell if something was off with each other and finally get to talking about it or dance away the grumpy. I have watched Allie have heartbreak and I am so beyond happy that she found her person. Allison has a special way of making you feel like you’re the most important person in the world and I’m grateful to stand by her side on her wedding day!

Allison and I met through Colleen. After months of them FaceTiming and me casually jumping in to say hi and join the fun, I finally got to meet her in person when she came and stayed with us for a long weekend. It was her spring break and my birthday so it was a good time to say the least. We don’t get to see each other often but when we do there’s never a dull moment. I can’t wait to stand next to Allie on her wedding day!

Moira was the perfect choice to be our flower girl because she's such close friends with both of us. She helped us coordinate engagement photos, helped with our bridal shower, and was by our side through the entire elopement process. She has been a great friend to us both, and is truly our chosen family. We are so excited to have Moira by both of our sides in October - it wouldn't be right without her.
