Rhianna ran into Anne freshman year as Anne made her escape from the substance-free dorm at Wake and chose instead to move to Rhianna’s residence hall and the two haven’t looked back. Since then, they have lived together 7 years and devastated countless dance floors. Anne is one of the most positive people you will ever meet and can add levity to any situation. This makes her so well-equipped to bring life into this world on a daily basis as a renowned midwife. I knew Anne would be the perfect person to have with me on my wedding day to help “deliver” me to the altar. I am so honored to have Anne with me on this special day and wish we could ride in on that huffy we once commandeered outside the Pit dining hall.

Liz, "Big Lizzy", and "the Sliz" are a few of the names by which she has come to be known. The two met at Wake Forest freshman year and it was love at first sight. They immediately bonded over their love of indie rock, politics, and late nights spent pulling all-nighters to study at Tribble Hall or the ZSR Library. Besides Liz being tragically hip and chronically cool, Liz has travelled the world during her stint in the Peace Corps and additional work related to both public health and women's health and family planning. Liz currently resides in Seattle, Washington with her lovely husband Mick and their gorgeous baby Theo who is a front-runner for the next Gerber baby. Rhianna knew Liz would be an important addition to the wedding day to have by her side even if she was the only person laughing at a dumb joke, DJing and setting a vibe for the room, or bringing "Big Lizzy" out if anyone needs to be threatened to have their glasses broken.
