Question

Where is the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception?

Answer

All of the day's events will be at Venue 5126 in Oswego, IL. We are the only wedding on the property that day and will have signs showing which part of the venue the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are occurring.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, we are hoping to host our ceremony outside. The cocktail hour and reception will be mainly indoors with outdoor patios available.

When do you need our RSVPs by?

Answer

Please let us know of your attendance or absence by August 23rd.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. We suggest our guests wear cocktail dresses, suits or dress shirts and jackets, dressy jumpsuits, or slacks.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The earliest our venue can accommodate guests before the ceremony is 4pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Venue 5126 has plenty of parking for those who prefer to drive themselves. Guests are permitted to park overnight at Venue 5126. It is requested that the car is picked up by 10am the following morning.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotels?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged a shuttle to pick up and drop off guests from the Hampton Inn and Holiday Express in Yorkville, IL. If you are not staying at either hotel, you are still welcome to utilize the shuttle from either location.

What is the shuttle schedule?

Answer

To the Venue: - 3:45pm (Hampton) - 4:00pm (Holiday Inn) From the Venue: - 10:00pm pickup - 11:00pm FINAL pickup This schedule will be posted at the hotels as well as announced during the reception.

Does Uber or other rideshares serve this area?

Answer

Yes! You can get an Uber, Lyft, etc. to and from the venue / hotels.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes! We want to ensure everyone can enjoy their meals. Dinner will be served family style, however, our caterer can make changes or accommodations for those with restrictions. Please let us know when you RSVP of any dietary restrictions or allergies and we will update our caterer. A separate meal will be served if necessary.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us tonight. Feel free to bring some cash to tip the bartenders if you’d like.
