We're Married!

We had a small, intimate ceremony at Philadelphia City Hall with our two best men, Tristan and Stephen, and their partners. Although you couldn’t be there in person, we wanted to share a glimpse of the day with you so you can celebrate alongside us.

Our officiant told it best! "Like many modern love stories, theirs has a bit of a “depends who’s telling it?” moment. If you ask Kristan, they met on Tinder. If you ask Rhett, they met in person—at a Men of Melanin Magic event in Boston, surrounded by community, connection, and purpose. And honestly, both are right. Because what matters most isn’t where they first crossed paths—but that they kept showing up until something meaningful took hold. From Boston to this moment today, their journey has been filled with growth, laughter, and a deepening connection that has stood the test of time—five and a half years of building something true. They are a couple who can do it all—chasing the sun on a beach, exploring a new neighborhood, dressed up for a night out, or curled up on the couch for a movie night. They are equally at home in adventure and stillness. They don’t take themselves too seriously—but they take their love seriously. They laugh often, show up fully, and have built a partnership rooted in balance, joy, and intention. And most importantly—they genuinely enjoy each other’s company… (to a degree)."
