What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is black tie optional/formal attire. Gentlemen may opt for a tuxedo or a dark suit - please, no jeans or khaki pants! Ladies can wear a floor length formal dress, or an evening gown if preferred. We can’t wait to dress up with all of you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, only guests who received a plus one on their invitation can bring a guest. Thank you for your understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 3:30pm to ensure ample time for parking and finding your seat. Please consider traffic! The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm, so please plan to be in your seat a few minutes before the start time. At this time, doors will be closed and anyone not in the chapel will not have access to enter.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website! We are also registered at Tidwell Jewelers in Johnston, SC! Thank you for thinking of us as we enter this sweet season, together!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during our ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

What if I did not RSVP in time?

Answer

If you miss the RSVP deadline, your invitation will unfortunately be marked as a "no" response. While we would love to have you celebrate with us, we must provide our vendors with an accurate final guest count by their required deadline. We appreciate your understanding during this important planning process.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your children, we kindly request that our ceremony and reception remain an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing our special day with you!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event. We can’t wait to dance and celebrate with you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available on site at Ashton Gardens. Cars may be left overnight, but will be expected to be picked up Saturday morning at a decent hour. There are also plenty of uber/lyft options in the area. Feel free to utilize those services to and from the wedding.
