Every love story has its own timing—and ours began long before we even realized it. We first met in high school, where we were just two teenagers with friends in common and a quiet spark between us. Looking back now, we can both admit there was something there—even if we didn’t fully understand it at the time. (And yes… we’ve since uncovered old messages full of innocent flirting that definitely make us smile.) But life had its own plans, and while the timing wasn’t right back then, the connection never truly disappeared. Years later, we reconnected—and this time, everything felt different. It didn’t take long for us to realize what we had stumbled into was something real, something lasting. From the very beginning, there was a comfort, a familiarity, and a sense of “this is it.” What started as a high school crush turned into the love of a lifetime—and we feel so lucky to have found our way back to each other when the timing was just right.
