Kevin had previously seen a photograph of the beautiful young lady so he was intrigued, he promptly requested her phone number. Once said number was acquired, Kevin sent the following text. "How much does a polar bear weight?" and after a few long minutes Kevin's phone illuminated with the words "Enough to break the ice". Kevin would come to know Rheanna very well over the next few months. Since Rheanna lived in Connecticut they would have to wait before seeing each other in person. Kevin and Rheanna finally met 3 months later when she came to visit for her birthday. Two very long months later Rheanna moved to San Diego. The couple spent two months together in San Diego before Kevin deployed for 10 months. Kevin and Rheanna have a story that parallels The Little Mermaid, a mermaid falls in love with a sailor and leaves everything she knows to the mystical land to be with the one she loves.
