Brittany and Michael share something that not many couples have, back to back birthdays! On August 2nd, 2014, Brittany and her friends were all dressed up for a Girl's Night Out for her birthday party. Stephanie, Brittany's best friend, had started dating Michael's room mate in Virginia Beach, so the girls all met up at his house to get ready for the night. Little did they know Brittany's future husband would be walking into the room. As the girls were getting ready, Michael came home to find a beautiful brunette partying at his house. Brittany told Michael it was her birthday and that he should come out with them. Michael informed Brittany that his birthday was August 1, the day before, and he would love to celebrate! It was a surprise to everyone that the two of them became such a match! After a few days, the two of them began staying in touch and making time to see each other on days when Brittany had class in Virginia Beach. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and months turned to a Clown in a Pink Afro confessing his love on Halloween night. (Our Official Anniversary). Since that night, Brittany and Michael have experienced so much together. The Army National Guard, Bachelor's and Master's Degrees, concerts, music festivals, camping trips, being room mates, all of this leading up to CALIFORNIA!! For their Birthday's on July 31, 2018, Michael flew Brittany to San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa counties for a week of joy, celebration, romance and WINE. On August 1, at 4:19 Pm, at Korbel Winery, Michael shocked Brittany when he asked her to be his wife as his gift for his birthday. With tears of joy, Brittany said YES!!! Now, two years later, on May 30th, 2020, with the presence of friends and family, the Leo Lovers will unify as one and continue to live the adventurous, wild and crazy life they have already started to build together.
