I would like to think that the story of us, is that of a 21st Century fairytale. Kyle and I met the summer of my 6th grade year—it was infatuation at first sight...on my end. He wanted nothing to do with me, I followed him around everywhere and knew without a shadow of a doubt I would marry him. Lets just say playing the long game worked out and becoming his best friend made an easy transition into becoming his girlfriend my senior year of high school. Our relationship, however was short of a fairytale, it was a bumpy road to get where we are now; personal growth, understanding, communication, mutual respect and letting go of pride helped were key. We are blessed beyond measure to know that we have each other to weather the storms, to build each other up, to be partners in life. On November 7, 2019 I said yes to the boy of my childhood and the man of my dreams.
