Rhavin's Perspective: We met at The Griddle where Tony was working at the time. At the time, I worked for a man who tore me down & made me cry every day, yet this particular day, 1 day after my 28th birthday, I decided to go for a drive. After being chewed out yet again, I picked up my face, packed up my tears & headed down Sunset Blvd for my escape, my lunch break. Although I was planning to go somewhere else, I happened to catch a glimpse of "The Griddle Cafe" which there, I'd never eaten before but always admired all the social media pictures of their amazing breakfast! From that decision, came a world wind of awesomeness to follow. I immediately met someone who made me forget about all my troubles, problems & fears. He had me smiling from ear to ear & laughing like a little school girl... Little did Tony know, he was symbolically wiping away my tattered bruises & tears. He comforted me so effortlessly and our first date was the very next day! SmoothOperator!
Tony's Perspective: We went to the Griffith Observatory. We just met the day before at my work, I picked you up outside the employee lot of Jim Henson studios. It was kind of an overcast day and the observatory is kind of a creepy place. Then I started talking about the black dahlia murderer and really scared you. Haha, Sorry. I guess a good rule of thumb is don't bring up murder on a first date. We were literally two strangers driving in a creepy old car, on a lone street in a park and there was a dark tunnel coming up. I remember you looked at your phone with concern, then it dawned on me, I put my foot in my mouth. I said "so I probably creeped you out with the murderer stuff, huh?" You said "Pssh, yeah you creeped me out, talkin bout murders and dead people". I remember us both laughing at the situation. You gave me a look like he's not creepy he's just retarded. You're right. Since day one we have been able to smoothly drive over any bumps in the road. You did tell me that I fit the profile of a serial killer though lol. After we strolled around the observatory for a bit, not talking about dead things. I asked if you wanted me to take you back or if you wanted to grab dinner. You chose dinner. Good choice. Thanks for not running off on me!
