Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is May 02, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark your response as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm so please plan to arrive at 3:30 pm. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until the ceremony is completed.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. For women, think floor length dresses, dressy skirts, or jumpsuits. For gentlemen, suits or dress shirts with ties optional.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typical early June weather in Pennsylvania is around 71 degrees during the day, and cooler in the evening. Our ceremony and reception are in a historic barn with open air, and our cocktail hour will be outdoors.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by a buffet style dinner. Please contact us if you have any dietary restrictions.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a selection of signature drinks, beer and wine that will be provided throughout the reception. If you are not taking the shuttle back to the hotel, please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking!

Will there be transportation provided from the Tru by Hilton?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding ceremony and reception from the Tru by Hilton Lancaster East. Shuttles will leave the hotel 40 minutes before the ceremony start, and will leave the venue promptly after the reception.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like!
