Where can I stay if I am coming out of town?

Answer

We have reserved hotel blocks (see travel page for more information) or you may bring a tent and stay on site at The Schubring home for a bonfire camp out. There are also several Air BNB options in Hickory, NC.

What is the closest airport to fly into?

Answer

Charlotte Douglas International Airport is the closest (roughly 1 hour drive) and will likely have the cheapest flight options. Asheville Regional airport is smaller and equally the same distance.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

At the ceremony, we kindly ask you make other arrangements for your children. If would like to bring them, we will have a babysitter at The Schubring’s second family home located directly across the street from the 2201 Schubring home. We kindly ask you bring cash for a tip for our babysitter.

Are there Ubers/taxis?

Answer

No, you will need to plan accordingly by either having a designated driver or plan to stay the night at The Schubring home.
