I was new here in the United States (2006) and decided to use social media to look for friends as I had just embarked on a new adventure in my life. After countless searches and clicks, I stumbled upon this beautiful lady and asked her out. I STOOD HER UP on our very first date (I can explain!!!) but despite what happened, she gave me another chance!!! and the rest is history!! After 14 years, we are finally getting married!

It was RG's birthday weekend. He said he wants to have lunch with friends and go to the Reunion Tower in Dallas afterwards. While we were there, we were just talking about the past, fun stories, how we started dating. I didn’t think much of it since it’s his birthday. We were taking lots of pictures and I asked him to have someone take pictures of us. He asked 2 ladies and it was taking him a while to ask for pictures of us to be taken (he appeared to be explaining something). So she started taking pics then RG looked at me, saying he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and that he can’t live without me and all, I’m like ok great but we’re just taking pictures!! He then got down to one knee, pulled a box out of his pocket and I remembered I said, "I think I will have a headache" 😂, he pulled this beautiful ring and ask me to marry him. I said 20 yes's and pulled him to kiss my future husband!
