John and I met and fell in love through our love for music. It all started at High Caliber Music Festival in New Jersey. High Caliber is not your average music festival as it takes place on The New Jersey BB-62 Battleship! After High Caliber, we kept in touch and traveled to see other concerts together. I drove up North to see a few different shows in New York with him and he took the bus down South to go to shows in Washington D.C. and Baltimore with me. Next thing you know, it seemed like we were traveling almost every weekend to see each other! The long distance was a first for both of us, but it just seemed right! Anytime we were together, our friends would say things like we were glowing and told us how much our love radiated. It was easy to see it was true love! When we weren't physically with each other, we were still always on the same wavelength. It wasn't much longer when John decided to move to Maryland, so we could be together! Since the beginning I knew she would be the one, and as a man you just know. Brittany has shown me so much love and has done so many things for me that I’m so thankful for and each day I gain more and more love for her. Asking her family was actually really exciting because I knew the joy it would bring to everyone and I knew they felt I was a part of their beautiful family already. The proposal was everything I knew she would love which was the beach, the vibe, and the friends we were with.
