No. I have paid a photographer to capture our special day and I do not want your blurry and unflattering photos on facebook. This will be an unplugged ceremony and we ask you do not take any photos.
Iowa Taproom - Downtown Des Moines. The ceremony and reception will be held here. There will be about a half hour intermission as they flip the room and get it ready for the reception!

The ceremony will start at 4 o'clock, but we ask that you arrive thirty minutes early to make sure you are seated. If you show up at 3:35 or after we ask that you wait in the foyer until ceremony is over.
Invitations will be specific and will include the name of the children who are invited. however, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for youself! Additionally, if your child becomes upset or is crying during the ceremony and/or speeches, please take them out to the foyer to calm down. Thank you for understanding!

There are a couple places to park, you can park on the street anywhere around the venue, but you will have to pay for parking until 9 PM, after that it is free and Sunday is free parking! There is a parking lot on the backside of the building, there is a sign that says permit parking only, but under that it does say Iowa Taproom parking. The parking lot is first come first serve! There is a parking garage about 2 blocks away from the venue that you will have to pay to park. For those staying at the hotel, the hotel offers a shuttle and we encourage you to park at hotel and take shuttle or walk to venue!
This will be a Formal Cocktail Attire event. For women, we are wanting you to wear floor length dresses as opposed to a mini or midi-length one. For men, we recommend dress pants and a dress shirt in a classic color like black, navy blue or burgundy. ** Please no jeans/denim pants**

We will be providing a couple kegs of beer for free. Also, we will be hosting an open bar up to a certain amount, after that it will be a cash bar!
We will miss celebrating with you! You will not be able to attend if you miss the RSVP deadline, we have to provide our venue with exact numbers by a certain date, so please do not RSVP late!

There will be chairs set up in the center for the ceremony, those chairs are reserved for immediate family only! (Parents, siblings, aunts and uncles, first cousins) Everyone else is welcome to choose any table they want to sit for the the ceremony and reception! For those sitting in the chairs in the center, we will have reserved tables for you for after the ceremony.
