Charlotte-Douglas International Airport
There are a handful of airports in the Charlotte area, however, Charlotte-Douglas International Airport is the easiest (and probably the cheapest) for domestic flights. Charlotte is a "base" for American Airlines, you can find direct flights from Kansas City to Charlotte which are about 2 hours long. From Wichita, you may connect in Dallas, Atlanta, or Chicago. For our family and friends in Massachusetts and Florida, you can find direct flights to Charlotte through various airlines.
