We’re Getting Married!

Jen Fox was having a bridal shower and Tim Locastro and his friends were at his cousins house for the Cortaca game. Colby had come in to town to hang out with Locastro and was planning to spend the night at Timmy’s house once the game is over. Tim mentioned that he had to go to the bridal shower, and Colby had no idea next thing you know Emily is downstairs chirping away at Matt Chadderdon and I was like wow who is this girl, all of a sudden we’re all in Locastro‘s basement and Emily and I talked for six hours, and then she left and texted and Colby got all excited and the rest is history! We then spent the next year and a half doing long distance going back and forth from Connecticut to Ithaca every weekend!

It was a beautiful Friday afternoon in Ithaca. Emily was coming in for the weekend and Colby had to surprise her when she arrived at the Lake house. Colby had champagne set up on the top deck with roses and pictures of them printed out on the way down to the lake and at the lake there was the “ Marry Me” sign on the beach. After saying “Yes!” We took the boat to The Boat Yard where both of our families and some friends were there to surprise us and celebrate our engagement!
