Weather permitting, this is a great place to spend a few hours before the wedding events begin! If you are staying at The Beauport, the pool is available for you the day of check-in at 11:00am.

Hammond Castle is located on the Atlantic coast in the Magnolia area of Gloucester, MA. The castle, which was constructed between 1926 and 1929, was the home and laboratory of John Hays Hamond, Jr. an inventor and pioneer in the study of remote control who held over four hundred patents. The building is composed of modern and 15th-, 16th-, and 18th-century architectural elements and sits on a rocky cliff overlooking Gloucester Harbor. The castle operates as the Hammond Castle Museum, displaying Hammond's collection of Roman, medieval, and Renaissance artifacts as well as exhibits about his life and inventions.
Halibut Point State Park is located about 15 minutes away from the venue and is open from 8 am to sunset. The parking is $5 for MA residents and $20 for Non MA residents. There are many activities to do here; Hiking, Fishing, Bird Watching, Scenic Viewing, etc. for all of our nature lovers!
